Let it snow

Well ... unlikely. S and I decided to walk to the lake this morning, but within two minutes it had started to rain, so we just had a brief walk around the village instead, and were glad to be back in the warm. Once it got dark I went out with R and H to admire the local Christmas lights, which they assured me were most impressive.

Perhaps they over-hyped it; 90% of the lights were on one house (blip). Then again, this house alone has more lights on it than our entire village at home.

Eurostar cancelled our return journey. But we fairly easily booked a replacement, it just means getting back a couple of hours later.
