Frosty

A cold and icy day but bright sun made diamonds glisten and dance in all the treetops. It was both joyful and beautiful to witness. Unfortunately the downside to yesterday’s storm were slippery pathways and driveways to maneuver, plus hard to open doors. I had to sand for us to get to and from the car safely for our outing to a favorite bookstore. It was delightful to browse books, music, cards and movies without the stress of needing to find a gift, unlike those around us. The lines were long but we weren’t bothered a bit. It’s fun to purposely immerse yourself into the hustle and bustle when your shopping and holiday preparations are done • We ordered two hot nondairy cocoas to go and sat near the river to take in the scenery. It was cold and quiet with only a couple of dog walkers to watch • Christmas Eve tomorrow!
