Snow monster after blizzard

Day before Christmas eve is a busy shopping day and also traveling day here in Finland. I try to avoid any moving around at the day before Christmas eve.

No success this year. I visited my mom and took a candle with kids to the dad's grave. Streets so full of cars everywhere. Sudden rushhour all day.

In the evening we had our corona home tests done, everything packed in cars and drove to the countryside. A promised snow blizzard had started already at five pm. No ploughs seen until nine pm. Not too good driving conditions, because of the flying white stuff and slippery roads, but lovely weather to walk with Nicke the poodle later in the evening. My daughter came to keep us company on our walk in silent beautiful streets of the small willage.

-5c. Some 7cm snow on the ground as we walked in the evening. Freezing days promised, so the snow will last. Lovely!

Ps. The corona situation is that local authorities closed everything here in this area of Pirkanmaa for two weeks now due the corona. According to the restrictions given by government yesterday, but as there is high risk level of Covid-19 in the area they closed everything: All sports halls, swimming pools, no dancing, no singing, no happenings, theater. Very strong restrictions. I hope that this will carry us over the situation.
