An Unusual Balcony Visitor

The image is taken though glass. I've called the  bird Herod in keeping with Christmas . My checking up points to a Kestrel . It had a set to with a crow .Eye ball to eye ball then both flew..Fingers crossed the crow didn't fall prey Also Herr Amsel who I'd seen on coming  through the garden courtyard .He sent Christmas greetings .Now a much needed coffee and commence cooking .the Christmas Day meal in advance.Tonight it's  very German Sausages with Potato Salad  followed by special cake. Wishing you all a very happy Christmas ...Berlin  is already much quieter .At 15:00 cet it will be wonderful .
