It’s unfortunate that this years' charity Christmas lunch get-together had to be cancelled due to COVID.  Two years ago I helped out with the lunch for some of our area’s most isolated individuals and families,  a 100 households at a local hotel where they had a super meal, entertainment and gifts from Santa. (I also took the pictures)  Last year it couldn’t go ahead due to Covid and I often wondered about what kind of Christmas these people had last year.  It was a big blow when this year we had to cancel again because of Omicron. But this year all is not lost.
We are stocked up and already delivering a wee bit of holiday cheer. Hopefully a delivery of a freshly prepared meal and a wee gift bag of goodies will be the next best thing.  Not as good as the party but better than nothing at all.  All being delivered to them today and tomorrow.
