Bracket fungus

This morning we went into Leiston for a few essential supplies - such as salt and pepper.  We were in the habit of taking such items with us to self-catering places, only to find they all supplied them.  This time we forgot, and there is none.

We also forgot the potatoes sitting in our fridge.

We then went on to Minsmere RSPB reserve, had a lovely wander in the woods and a late lunch in their cafe.  When we returned to the car, the weather had turned mizzly again.  Hoping for better tomorrow, when we plan a longer walk - maybe over to Dunwich Heath - taking a picnic lunch as nowhere will be open, of course.
