Family Getaway

Today we went to Balbirnie House Hotel (where Cyclops and MrsCyclops got married) for a wee pre-Christmas night away. CyclopsJnr was very excited to have his own room (we treated ourselves to a suite) with a bed that was also a sofa!

We spent the afternoon playing Carcassonne and Yahtzee and drinking hot chocolate in the lounge, right next to the tree.  

The parents had a 7 course tasting menu booked for later, so CyclopsJnr dined early at Mcdonalds.  It's a rare treat for him to get a happy meal, complete with a festive plush reindeer toy!
