Drifting across Christmas
Out on a Christmas Eve walk, but we are really wrapped up because the wind is blowing strongly from the north. We actually set out and then returned top the house for extra clothes! Brrr.....
There's no snow falling but what is here already is being rearranged by the wind and creating drifts that are creeping across the road.
Today's the day in Sweden so no-one else is out walking. Everyone else is at home with family, opening presents and getting ready to watch Donald Duck and Disney cartoons. So today is the day to wish everyone "God Jul".
We were a little British today and listened to Radio 4 via the internet, "A service of carols, hymns, and readings live from the candlelit Chapel of King's College, Cambridge". All very lovely, though I nearly choked when they prayed for the schools set up by King Henry the something or other, and mentioned Eton!
We've enjoyed a relaxing day and a little alcohol, Christmas Cake, chocolates, and hot sour chickpeas.
