Flowers are great when you want to practice with a camera. I was holding a piece of kitchen roll over the on-board flash to try and diffuse it a bit, it did work but I nearly got half blinded by the light (isn't that a name of a song?)

I did buy a diffuser from Jessops but it's too big.

I would like a proper flashgun that tilts. Maybe I might get one for my birthday! I could do with one that will work with the LX3 as well.
