London

I ventured into London today, starting at Charing Cross. The first thing that struck me was how quiet it was. Almost no one in sight, especially for this time of year. I wandered around Covent Garden, up Regent St, along Oxford Street then out to Ealing Broadway to meet my housemate and home.
London has changed a lot in the last 8 years, not just Covid ravaging the economy but the mix of stores has changed too. Brands and more brands, nothing really stands out now, sadly.
Selfridges was busy on the ground floor, if I don’t get Covid, I’ll be lucky!
