Merry Christmas!

After a week of horrible weather, the traditional Penicuik Harriers' run up Carnethy this morning was blessed when the sun broke through just after we got to the top. Here are two club stalwarts about to extract from the summit cairn the bottle of malt whisky that the old man of the hills always leaves for the club. We shared a little, but it was very cold and windy, so we didn't hang around for long! The way up had been a social jog, but I had things to do at home, so made a swift descent to the car.
