No idea why this lone boot, stamping on some seaweed, was on the sand this beautiful sunny morning. On a day when the news is talking about derivations of non English words now in common English usage this one could be added to the list!
A bootleg refers to the long leather boots worn by cowboys in the Old West. They were used to store all manner of illicit goods, including an extra gun, a bowie knife, or a flask of moonshine. Ask Google
