Not Quite

The cactus is trying hard to open - but hasn't quite made it today - but it still looks good ... at least I think so (see what you think - if you want).

We had a surprise video call from No1 son. The girls weren't that interested ..... they had loads of presents to play with.
It turns out that the sale of their house has gone through so in the New Year they will be on the hunt for a new domicile.

After lunch (lobster tails with roasted black garlic in butter .... delicious) I finished off the present for our ray of sunshine (daughter-in-law) but can't put a picture up in case it is seen.

Is it just me who thinks The Queen was looking drawn and a shade unwell during her speech.
There is obviously a real rift between the palace and the BBC. On the radio there was no National Anthem and of course it was ITN rather than the BBC who had the rights to produce and show it.
