Happy Christmas

What a miserable day. I have caught up with my ironing and made two beds ready for our visitors on Tuesday. We went for a walk in the rain. I grabbed the first boots I set eyes on, a pair I hadn’t worn for quite a while.What a mistake, as I was walking along the river path I noticed my feet were getting damp and when I looked down I noticed the sole of one boot had come away from the boot. I made it home but by then both boots were letting in water. They have gone in the bin, well and truly knackered.
Hopefully, it’s a brighter day tomorrow.
