Christmas
This morning we had bacon sarnies on the fell whilst sat in the boot of the car. We know how to enjoy ourselves. No hearty walk this year but a brief stroll in a biting wind. R did some skipping across the bales.
The cough cycle continued (oh no she’s coughing / oh no she’s not coughing, is she breathing …) but we’ve kept L at home so far by the skin of a sats monitor that stayed around 92.
Her negative PCR result arrived this morning just after Santa had delivered, so we’ve managed to salvage some Christmas cheer despite feeling somewhat bleary eyed by the week’s proceedings.
Eagle D dropped in for a quick visit and then we went over to Helton to enjoy Christmas with Ds family, who are also cooking dinner. They really are the kindest people - they had even offered to deliver it to us had we been stuck at home. The most delicious meal you could imagine.
Poppy offered a good dog alternative therapy to oxygen therapy.
Merry Christmas Blippers!
