Christmas Day

I slept really badly, worrying about all the things I still had to do this morning and the fact that I hadn’t taken the children’s sacks downstairs or even filled their stockings. It’s difficult when you go to bed hours before they do! It all worked out ok and the children seemed pleased with all their presents.
Alf picked my parents up at midday and we had hot sausage rolls and champagne while D cooked the lunch and we FaceTimed Ted and the boys. D did a fabulous job as usual. Christmas lunch is definitely my favourite meal of the year.
After a little nana nap, we opened our presents then got some more food out and finished the day with a couple of games.
Another Christmas done and dusted.
