I hope you’ve all had the best Christmas Day possible. We’ve been blessed to have both boys and partners with us - so different from last year when we only had Daniel and Solveig for a few hours when we had Christmas dinner in the garden (an interesting experience!) as Simon and Lloyd were stuck in locked down London. 

Today, for the first time in some forty years I didn’t cook Christmas dinner. Instead, dinner was prepared by our lovely neighbours who ‘do Christmas’ like nobody else I know. Their house forms a magical festive world which overspills into the garden, and today’s blip features just one element of the crystal decorations embellishing the dining room.
