Phew! we made it!

Phew! We made it!
With Ian laid low with Omicron until Thursday, Ken worried about contracting it, Karl and Leia choosing to quarantine, we weren't sure if Christmas would happen for us this year.

The last week has been a tense time. Not knowing if Ian would get worse, running around buying meat that Karl was going to supply, doing a lot of kitchen prep so that Christmas could be as  simple as possible.

In the end all went well and it was an incredibly chilled out afternoon.

Ian did the final cooking and hosting which is always good for me because they get to do the washing up too.
