Reflections

of things to come! It was a cold day....the weatherman had predicted temperatures above freezing, but it never made it. I love the winter and I really don't mind if I have to bundle up a bit to go outside, but I know I am in the minority. This time of the year, so many folks are "chirping" for warmer weather. Well, the weatherman really missed the weather today, but is calling for sunshine the next several days with temperatures more within the "normal" range for this month.

As I finished the dishes and wandered into the living room to load some firewood into the woodstove, I stopped....this reflection that I photographed *only* appears in the evening when the sun come out! And it was indeed shining rather gloriously! The reflection is created by the sun's rays hitting the glass on the woodstove and it reflects onto a chair sitting a few feet away. I do think it rather lovely!
