Riverside this Morning…

Maisie and I walked a little later than usual this morning. The air was fresh but with a promise of hot weather later. (In fact the temperature reached 31.9C in the shade in our porch early this afternoon.) There were already lots of walkers and dogs along the riverside tracks. Hannah and Alex walked into town to bravely check out Boxing Day Sales. They reported that shops were “heaving”. Hannah fitted a new, very long “non-kinking” garden hose to our hose reel system. Yay! Sadly she and Alex and Kevin the cat departed for Marahau after lunch. We have enjoyed and appreciated their presence.
