Homeward bound

Looking at this stunning sky it's hard to believe that what actually happened on our journey back to Houston.
A huge storm hit Houston & the airport shut and we couldn't land. The pilot tried to circle but it was so bumpy and we were running out of fuel. We diverted to New Orleans to re fuel.
After a few hours on the ground and no let up on the storm front we finally got clearance to fly.
We flew into Houston along side an incredible but very scary thunderstorm.
