He’s been……..

When the children were small, this was the shout when they saw their presents under the tree! This year (inevitably) was very different. No.2 arrived yesterday and left London behind, but took this photo to send me saying ‘Santa’s lost weight’. No. 1 was with her new family so the morning was quiet. We drove (in two cars) to my sisters house and had a lovely lunch and fairly quiet day. No. 2 was a bit fidgety and didn’t settle and was making noises about driving back to London rather than staying. He’s an adult so can do his own thing, but will return tomorrow for Boxing Day lunch with extended family and No.1 will
Be with us. It will be hectic. Christmas is always about managing the expectations.

I’m not a huge fan - too much sitting around but we will manage a long walk tomorrow morning.
