Nick's Graduation

The Crafton Hills Fire Academy graduation on April 29th was bittersweet for most cadets. For Nick, Crafton Hills was the academy that his dad also went to. Furthermore, they rose his dad's flag every day of the academy. He worked his hardest, and completed the academy as one of the top cadets. He even was awarded "Most Outstanding Cadet". I am so proud of him.

Many of his dad's firefighter friends came out for the graduation, as well as friends and family. It was a time of celebration and remembrance. This is a picture of Nick and his grandpa (his dad's dad), in front of his dad's academy plaque.

Even with all the tears, it was an awesome night!
