Happy Christmas
Not much effort expended on photos today. I did ask S for permission to post this.
After present-opening, he and I cooked Christmas dinner. It went surprisingly well given how vanishingly rare it is for us to cook meat and four veg. The turkey crown just got bunged in the oven draped with bacon rashers and with a few herbs stuffed underneath, and then more or less ignored, and it was perfect. Carrots, sprouts, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, lots of stuffing, pigs in blankets, gravy. We did manage to fit in some Christmas pud for afters, and ate little else for the rest of the day. Yet again we didn't leave the house. Thanks to Call the Midwife, we also managed to dodge the almost obligatory card game.
