Boxing Day

After a full English breakfast and a relaxed morning we headed home.

After all the eating I felt in need of a walk. It always surprises me how much there is to notice on a route that I take so frequently. Today it was the way the raindrops on the alder cones were stained yellow. And then a goldcrest in the trees by the path.
