A white Christmas (just)
Around 11.00 last night it started to snow - big wet flakes that weren’t lying by the time we went to bed, but which had settled into a thin covering by the time we woke up.
It had largely melted away around the house by the time Cathleen, Cailean and I we took Rula and Breagha for a Boxing Day wake in the forest , but higher up there was some still around.
However the forecast for the next week means this is likely to be the last snow of 2021.
(PS. This shows the effect of the fish-eye lens that Cailean kindly gave me for Christmas - good width of image )
