Boxing Day.

Woke to a covering of snow. Cold, damp and dismal.
Decided not to drive over to Fountains Abbey to meet up with our Pudsey Ramblers for the Carol Service in the Abbey ruins.
Followed by a walk by the Severn bridges walk.
It’s always very cold in the celarium especially when sat waiting for the service to begin.

So we decided to just have a walk round the village.
We met one or two dog walkers, and had a long chat with a friend.
Despite the miserable weather it was nice to get some fresh air and we enjoyed the walk.
Just had to be careful as the pavements were slushy and slippery.

The rest of the afternoon we have just been relaxing, eating, and drinking. ( tea and coffee!)

Hoping for some better weather next week.
