Feliz Navidad!

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

Merry Christmas!

We had a really lovely Christmas Day. There were 9 of us for Christmas lunch and then we were joined in the evening by Terry (The Eldest Mini Princess’s boyfriend) and Biker Chick.

Mary Doll was on brilliant form. I was rolling my eyes as she started her Spanish Inquisition routine with The Duke about his love life but then he revealed that he has a new girlfriend and it was the first that any of us knew about it! We introduced her to baby Guinesses and her face when we downed them was an absolute picture!

The Youngest Mini Princess has a Christmas memory book which we all write messages in every year. It was the first time that Terry had met any of the extended family and it’s fair to say that he had a baptism of fire! He most definitely earned the seal of approval from all grandparents and his entry in the memory book almost made me choke…”I have never felt more stressed in my life”!

The last of us were still chatting and playing cards until 1 am. Biker Chick was squiffy and openly cheating (much to the confusion of EMP who was scoring) which was hilarious. I just loved that both of the MP’s were still up, hanging with everyone at the end of the night.
