Boxing Day walk

Today’s pre planned walk was up Deer Hill to admire the magnificent views. Normally you can see for miles and miles, but as one couple we passed said, today in the clearer spots we could literally see for metres! The fog was thick, the snow underfoot was the extra slippy kind and it was so cold my face was numb. Despite all that we walked 5 miles and had a lovely time.
In other news my Dad transferred to the rehab unit today to get him mobilising and next week we will finally be allowed to visit him.
