Hand painted plate

I was delighted to see a photo of my grandchildren,
with this Christmas plate

I painted it in 1981, for my then baby son.

At the time we were living in Rio de Janeiro
and I used to do some porcelain painting classes

With the passage of time, I wasn’t certain where the plate had got to!….
But now I know that it is USA….
And my grandchildren are lovingly looking after it for their dad!
