La Grande Arche

It was icy, it was grande...not one of our trio had the right metro pass to get there. But it was worth it! Great shame that the lift up-top and the viewing platform have been shut for a few years. Bizarre abandoned relic feel to the place with smashed glass barriers, ominous lift shafts and a dusty ticket office. Looking out from the esplanade gave a very strong sense of being right on the periphery.
