At Lake Panorama

Recently we learned of the existence of the small lake; also known officially as a stormwater pond. A newly constructed walkway with bridges allows one to walk around the lake in about fifteen minutes, and not much longer when stopping for photos.

We had just arrived and were walking towards the path around the lake when I saw and photographed an Australian magpie. The best shot of this bird I have managed this year.

The extra is aphoto of one of the numerous little things to appeal to children (of all ages). A dinosaur egg in the rocks is not a common sight these days, and many visitorsmay not even notice it.
