Winter Scene

Continuing my collection, over many years, of candlelit scenes. Here is one in porcelain of a village scene with church steeple in the snow.  I like the crescent moon and the stars above the rooftops and the tall trees covered in snow.  It all looks very pretty at night. I took this photo this morning before it was light.  The fairy lights add a bit of magic!

In the Northern Hemisphere, after the winter solstice, the days slowly get longer, which means more light. So this week of lights on my Blip Journal seems perfect to celebrate the return of light!
