An education

Adventure Girl is writing a book. She’s reached chapter 3 and was looking for a secret hiding place in her protagonist’s bedroom. I referred to lifting floorboards and she looked none the wiser so it called for a practical demonstration. Too scared of spiders to go for a crawl round even with a torch.
She has a new favourite film. School of Rock has been watched twice in two days. The plan is for her and mum to head home today while Gorgeous Boy stays an extra night. He’s been busy coding a computer thingy his Auntie bought him (help me out here Eleanor) and playing with City Skylines that his other Auntie bought him new software for.
Christmas is so much better with kids around.
