A hardy chiel?

We took the dogs to Fraserburgh beach this morning.
The weather was pretty good, very still and not too cold.
However, there was no way that I would have been paddling like this guy and his dog.
My wife thought he must be a “hardy chiel” and I guess that kind of sums him up!
