Dull and dreary

Well for a public holiday, the weather today was pretty miserable. I didn't even leave the house! So just to capture the kind of day it was weatherwise, here's a picture from our window of Discovery Bay looking out to HK. You can't see ANYTHING!

For a stay indoors day, it was otherwise productive with filing getting done, more sorting out for our summer holiday and a few movies watched.

Tomorrow, huge day here as we go to immigration to collect our permanent residency! Yay! 7 (and a bit) yrs have flown by and I cannot believe this day has come so fast. I think it means more to me than Martin and the boys! How I wish my sister, GadgetKid, could have an opportunity like this. Although Dubai is our home, we can never be permanent residents there. It's such a shame.
