Busy Boxing Day

(In extras)This morning hubby did the Boxing Day swim with hundreds possibly a couple of thousand swimmers. The weather and tide were favourable and he stayed in for 10 mins! I had to take photos! This afternoon family from my hubbies side came for a buffet tea. We were meant to be 22 of us but the number was halved due to general illness and 3 with Covid! We had a lovely time and Colin’s brother and sister stayed till gone 12.30 playing Chinese Checkers which was a game their mum loved. My poor mum didn’t have a good day and the saga is still ongoing. Getting old is tough and it’s tough watching my mum struggle too!
