Baby Seal

We had a wonderful opportunity to photograph this baby seal during a walk on the beach at Whitley Bay with Granddog Oona. A couple of babies had come very close to the shore and although they seemed OK we were a little concerned for them as no adults seemed to be around. It turned out that someone had contacted the authorities as a little later a couple of "medic" chaps arrived to see what they could do (we didn't have time to stay to see the outcome). But I shot off loads of photos so here's 3 of the best.

(We kept Oona on her lead when we were anywhere near the seals!)
