After the Rain

Back Blip

We went over to Akaroa for a couple of nights. John had to do all the driving as my eye was closed up a bit after the operation yesterday. We took a walk around the village in the afternoon and had a ice-cream.

There was a lot of damage done in the Eastern Bays after all the rain we had over the past few days. Some people will be cut off for sometime as the roads have washed out and will be hard to repair. Akaroa wasn't too affected by the rain. Some Eastern bays had over 300 mil in a couple of days.
