Blea Tarn
Found the Blea Tarn I had intended to go to a day or so ago. This one required little walking as there is a National Trust car park on its boundary. The Tarn itself is National Trust. Although small, it still took a couple of hours to photograph and was well worth the visit.
It was blooming cold with a strong wind blowing over the water.
Wasn't able to continue onto my next location as the road past the tarn was closed so back tracked and took some photos of Langdale Pikes before heading off to Grasmere to buy some of their "famous Gingerbread".
