Before the Rain……

It was cloudy when Maisie and I set out for our early walk this morning. This view is from a footbridge looking downstream towards the ASB Theatre and Riverside Park. The weather forecast was for rain today. Full of hope, I carried an umbrella. A light shower dampened the ground as we returned home. In my view, natural rainwater is far superior to using garden hoses and irrigation. Luckily we did get some more rain during the day….
