The waiting game

The Waiting Game - Van Morrison

Rainy day today - a few more indoors things completed.  By the time the rain cleared during the afternoon I was ready for some fresh air.  A quick trip down to Monaco to see if the kingfishers were around......they weren't......just this sparrow and a few of his buddies hanging around in the holes in the tree, waiting for........I don't know.....maybe he was waiting for the kingfishers too?
