Yesterday was a slightly warmer (7°) day with only one rain shower. M and l went a walk to Lake Merritt, a tidal inlet about 2 miles from where we are staying. Lots of different birds - pelicans, egrets, herons, and small grumpy looking black headed night herons. Later in the afternoon we went for our PCR test prior to returning to the UK. In the evening our son and dil hosted a small cocktail party where we all had to do a lateral flow test. A good time was had. Today we are meant to be walking in the red woods which l am very much looking forward to.

Have just got my PCR test results back - negative so l am fit to fly - still awaiting Ms.
