Grand Union Canal

We had a walk by the canal without the dogs today as Charlie is just doing short walks until he feels better. We walked by the Grand Union Canal today which is a different canal for us. We set off from near a pub called Tom ‘O’ The Wood which I think is a great name for a pub. It is near Rowington. We walked from there down to Lapworth, Navigation Inn where they are doing some major work on the railway bridge so therefore you are not able to walk to the canal basin there. We saw a family of swans with grown up young ones. They were very beautiful. When I got home I walked the dogs around the playing field. Now we are all settled down for the evening. Dogs snoozing in their beds.
