A relaxed evening after the past few days’ festivities. It was so good to spend time with some of the family and I'm now looking forward to New Year when it looks like our plans for another family gathering will be able to go ahead. 

It's been just me and Mum today - a lovely, relaxed time - and then I took her back to the care home in time for her evening meal. She will now have to self-isolate (care home policy) but, having been staying with me since Christmas Eve and had a few days of precious family time, she feels it's a price well worth paying.
