Bohuntin Hill
The short daylight hours mean you don't have to wait long for the sun to disappear.
I had a lot of gear in my rucksack so I really felt the ascent tonight. You quickly forget that pain when the summit is gained. The sky didn't stay like this for long and there was a lot of wasted film either side of this short window. The cheap ebay battery in the camera went flat in the cold and fortunately I had a spare (of similar quality).
I had a safe descent by head torch. In the darkness to the east I could see another headtorch, a walker still very high up on the west shoulder of Ben Teallach (pronounced Challich). I hope their battery was well charged
