Bored Games

Another day and another round of board games and over consumption of food. The chocolates are almost gone though and the Christmas Dinner Soup is portioned up and in the freezer. Only cheese mountain really remains!

A brief ‘mature adult discussion’ with The Boy over isolation periods has resulted in me being Bad Cop. MrRoly was conveniently out on one of his daily walks and ignoring his phone so missed it all. It’s difficult to enforce ‘the rules’ set by a government that seem happy to disregard them time and time again. But morally, I stand by my argument that today was too early for him to go ice skating at the Eden Project!!

Then the most bizarre attempt to pick up a wardrobe from Marketplace. A farm in the middle of the A30 dualling roadworks down a ‘closed’ lane. Then they couldn’t actually dismantle it to get it out of the room it was in. MrRoly naively asked a question out if politeness and we got their full life story. Anyway, over an hour later we left without a wardrobe…
