Between the Years - Surprise!

I had to drag myself outside today. The weather was much better than yesterday, but still a constant drizzle.

Imagine my surprise when I heard this noise and kept looking and looking for the birds until these cranes appeared out of the drizzle and flew right over my head, going southwest. Never have I seen them so late in the year. A few days ago Blipper Munni spotted some over Wiesbaden; never had I expected to see any myself.

The extra: Tried zooming in on them, but it was difficult.

So after all good I dragged myself out and came back a bit more enthusiastic.
