I ordered the book, What is a River? It arrived today and is beyond delightful. The kids were fascinated and had a ton of questions. I took them out back and showed them where a natural spring starts a little stream in our woods. We followed the stream to where it joins two other streams. As the water got bigger and bigger, the kids got more and more excited. It was a fun adventure that helped bring the book to life.
The COVID numbers here are still soaring. My granddaughter's school will be going virtual at the end of winter break. I haven't heard yet whether my grandson's school will also be virtual.
