Shadows on the wet pavement

Leaving the oxfam shop at 5.30, after a good afternoon of sorting and displaying new book donations. Maggie O‘Farrell, Margaret Atwood, Elif Shafak amongst others.
I liked the look of these shadows of branches and twigs, created by a lamppost shining down through a tree, and the stillness, allowing the shadows to be sharp.
